    Commander's Welcome

Welcome – thank you for visiting our website! Cape Lookout Sail and Power Squadron has many things to offer the recreational boater. Craven and Pamlico Counties are a Mecca for water sports. Whether you are a fisherman, sailor or a power boater the confluence of the Trent and Neuse Rivers in eastern North Carolina have something to offer you. The Neuse River broadens substantially as it flows from New Bern to Pamlico Sound. The wide, uncrowded, expanses of the Neuse, the widest river in North America, and in the Pamlico sound provide excellent boating opportunities and there are a plethora of marinas and lots of launch ramps for small boats and fisherman. Take the time to view the programs we offer: boating safety through education, community service, and the fraternity of fellow boaters.
